About Shift It Removals
Shift It Removals is a one person operation run by a mover who has been in the trade since 1988, serving mainly West Lancashire, the UK and Ireland. The main vehicle is a 16 foot box van, with a 7.5 tonne lorry available when needed, suited to full house moves, office moves, part loads, pianos and single items. Extra labour can be arranged for larger jobs. Regular customers include West Lancashire Borough Council, social services and sheltered housing. Rated 5 from 13 Google reviews, all five stars. Van and driver hire is available, and boxes and bubble wrap can be supplied. Customers also include Holy Family Sisters across the UK and Ireland. Part loads are taken as well as complete moves, so smaller jobs do not need a full van.
HGV operator licence
We did not find this firm on DVSA's register of goods vehicle operator licences. That is not a mark against it: vans of 3.5 tonnes or less need no operator licence, and a firm may hold one under a different company name. If a firm will send a lorry, ask for its licence number and look it up on GOV.UK.
