About Smart Move Removals and Storage

Smart Move Removals and Storage is a family-run firm that has worked together since 2011 and has completed more than 1,200 moves. It offers house removals from one-bed flats to six-bed family homes, local and long-distance UK moves, office relocations and overseas moves. Packing is available as a full pack, fragile only or unpack and go, with boxes, paper and crates supplied, and furniture is dismantled and reassembled. Short and long-term storage includes drive-up self-access units. A man and van option covers smaller moves, with piano specialists and completion-day moves also listed. Free home surveys lead to a fixed-price quote within 24 hours, and the firm states £1m public liability and £100k in-transit cover. It also mentions Cheshire towns such as Wilmslow and Knutsford. HGV operator licence

We did not find this firm on DVSA's register of goods vehicle operator licences. That is not a mark against it: vans of 3.5 tonnes or less need no operator licence, and a firm may hold one under a different company name. If a firm will send a lorry, ask for its licence number and look it up on GOV.UK.

Checked 6 November 2026 against the DVSA operator licence register.
