About Tommy's Removals & Storage
Tommy's Removals & Storage is a family run removals, storage and haulage company in Heysham, near Lancaster, established in 2002. It works around Morecambe, Lancaster, Kendal, Blackpool, Preston and Barrow, and can move customers across the UK and over to Ireland and Europe. Packing, general storage, self storage and student storage are all on the service list, along with general haulage, wide load escorts and trailer hire. A moving checklist runs from four weeks out to the day itself. It cites over 5,000 customers and much of its trade comes by recommendation. Reviewers praise crews that arrive on time and wrap furniture carefully, and the haulage drivers are fully qualified and experienced. Rated 4.6 from 43 Google reviews, 34 of them five stars and 2 one star.
HGV operator licence
We did not find this firm on DVSA's register of goods vehicle operator licences. That is not a mark against it: vans of 3.5 tonnes or less need no operator licence, and a firm may hold one under a different company name. If a firm will send a lorry, ask for its licence number and look it up on GOV.UK.
