About Jim’s removals
Jim's Removals is a Blackburn firm that has worked with the public, solicitors, auction rooms and estate agents since 1983. Jim's son Jonathan, who worked alongside him on removals, now runs it after Jim retired. It offers domestic removals, house clearances, both full and part, and office removals across Blackburn, Preston and Lancashire, and it says it serves the whole of the United Kingdom. Confidential waste and store deliveries are also part of its past work. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm. Rated 5 from 51 Google reviews, 50 of them five stars. A customer review calls the team extremely reliable and recommends the firm for anyone moving house in Lancashire. A full or part house clearance, or even single items, is covered, and quotes can be requested by phone or email.
HGV operator licence
We did not find this firm on DVSA's register of goods vehicle operator licences. That is not a mark against it: vans of 3.5 tonnes or less need no operator licence, and a firm may hold one under a different company name. If a firm will send a lorry, ask for its licence number and look it up on GOV.UK.
